Joseph Bruno Montessori Academy sits on a beautiful 18 acre campus on the edge of Oak Mountain State Park.
Our facilities are unique and provide our students with ample amounts of space to learn and grow. We have 8 campus buildings that house our 5 programs, as well as a gymnasium, cafeteria, library, office, and maintenance workshop.
Outdoors, our school offers spacious areas to play sports like soccer, tennis, and volleyball. We also have a quarter mile track, and two playgrounds that are used frequently each day. An outdoor classroom, low ropes course, and a pond can be found past the playgrounds and soccer field and provides opportunities for environmental research and personal reflection for our students.
JBMA is unique in that the campus was designed to align with the developmental needs of children and the philosophical and pedagogical principles of Montessori education. The classrooms are spacious, on ground level, and bring the light of nature into the children through large windows. The grounds are carefully designed to match the physical and social developmental needs of our children and with play and relationships as a central themes. The JBMA Campus is truly a Case Dei Bambini–A Children’s House.
